Pool Installer Technician

APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT CERTIFICATION

This notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an Application for Permanent
Employment Certification for the following permanent full-time position:

The Pool Installer Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial swimming pools. Duties include preparing job sites, assembling pool structures, installing and servicing hydraulic, filtration, plumbing, and basic electrical pool equipment, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing pool system issues, replacing defective components, reading and interpreting construction plans and technical specifications, following safety standards and local regulations, and providing clients with basic guidance regarding pool use and care. The position requires travel to jobsites within Florida as assigned, primarily within the employer’s normal service areas, during standard working hours.
The position requires 36 months of experience as a Pool Installer Technician or in a closely related occupation. The position also requires practical knowledge of swimming pool construction and installation, including plumbing systems, hydraulic and filtration components, basic electrical connections for pool equipment, mechanical aptitude to operate specialized tools, understanding of water chemistry for pool operation and maintenance, and the ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications.
